What happens when three women discover, thanks to the live tweeting of a disastrous date, that they’ve all been duped by the same man? They become friends of course!

Samiah Brooks never thought she would be ‘that’ girl. But a live tweet of a horrific date just revealed the painful truth: she’s been catfished by a three-timing jerk of a boyfriend. Suddenly Samiah – along with his two other ‘girlfriends’, London and Taylor – have gone viral online. Now the three new besties are making a pact to spend the next six months investing in themselves. No men, no dating, and no worrying about their relationship status…

For once Samiah is putting herself first, and that includes finally developing the app she’s always dreamed of creating. Which is the exact moment she meets the deliciously sexy, honey-eyed Daniel Collins at work. What are the chances? When it comes to love, there’s no such thing as a coincidence. But is Daniel really boyfriend material or is he maybe just a little too good to be true?

This is my first book read by Farrah Rochon and I really enjoyed The Boyfriend Project.

The book starts with Samiah finding that her boyfriend cheating on her with the other two women and worse everything is viral. When she goes to confront him and she meets two other women. They form a strong friendship and they decided to make a pact to stay single for six months and to concentrated on their careers.

After the incident, Samiah meets Daniel her new coworker who is a thoughtful and funny and wonderful guy. They can’t stay away from each other and they decided to form a friendship. They didn’t want to have a relationship both for different reasons but their feelings for each other are stronger than their reasons.

I’ve witnessed how that brilliant brain of yours works. It’s an amazing tool, one that continues to enthrall me more and more every second I’m around you.

I liked that Daniel supports and encouraged her to follow her dreams.  I like that Daniel listens to her and understands her. Their relationship was so sweet and perfect. I loved that Daniel chooses her and love her. I liked the rom-com and recommend to everyone who wants to read a sweet rom-com.
